Stakeless clamp-on earth ground tester. Tests earth resistance without disconnecting the system or driving stakes. Fast and safe for live electrical systems.
The Fluke 1633 Advanced Earth Ground Tester uses the stakeless clamp-on measurement method to measure earth ground resistance without disconnecting the system under test and without driving test stakes into the ground — significantly faster and safer than traditional stake-based earth testers on live systems.
Suitable for testing earth electrodes on substations, transmission towers, distribution poles and industrial earth grids. The clamp-on method measures the total loop resistance of the earthing system.
